New owners of the Inn on Randolph celebrate first year in business
The new owners of Napa’s Inn on Randolph, Dan and Karen Lynch, will celebrate their first anniversary in business over Memorial Day weekend.
“Their extensively-renovated inn has enjoyed tremendous success in its first year, climbing the ranks to top positions on Trip Advisor and generating higher-than-average occupancy rates compared with Napa’s overall occupancy rates,” said a news release.
The Lynches purchased the inn — formerly known as the Hannah Moore House — in 2011 and began an extensive renovation with an eye toward preserving the original architectural details, the release said.
The circa-1860 estate, which is located in Napa’s historic residential district, had been owned by the Moore family for more than 100 years. Moore’s granddaughter, a midwife, established a women’s health center within the residence in the early 1900s, turning the dining room into a delivery room. The estate was converted into a bed and breakfast in the 1990s.
For the coming year, the Lynches plan to add more spa treatments for their spa room and further increase their community outreach.
“We’ve been surprised by how welcoming the community has been. The winemakers, the restaurants, our fellow innkeepers have been so gracious in helping us,” said Lynch.
